Youth Co-Lab, Accelerator Bangladesh: A National Dialogue to Foster the Startup Ecosystem in Banglad
Today, I have been attended Youth Co-Lab, Accelerator Bangladesh: A National Dialogue to Foster the Startup Ecosystem in Bangladesh, scheduled on 07 September 2018 from 14:30 hours to 19:00 hours at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC), Dhaka. The dialogue is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh and Citi Bank. Here present with Mr A.B.M. Ruhul Azad Additional Secretary - Ministry of Youth & Sports, Mr N. Rajashekaran (Shekar) Managing Director and Citi Country Officer Bangladesh, UNDP -Deputy Country Director, Ms Kyoko Yokosuka and Mr Ahsan Habib Founder & CEO - GoRiseMe, Inc. ‘Accelerator Bangladesh’ is part of a regional entrepreneurship programme: Youth Co-Lab, running in 18 countries in the Asia Pacific. In Bangladesh, we will convene 300 participants including social incubators, entrepreneurs and young business leaders, alongside selected Government officials and corporate partners from across the country to identify solutions for startup financing, business to business opportunities and actions against the Sustainable Development Goals. The dialogue provides a great opportunity for key business leaders like your company to contribute to building a diverse, innovative and profitable business ecosystem in Bangladesh. The dialogue sessions will include: 1. Startups and Accelerators to share their perspective on innovation and bringing it to market. 2. Established businesses to discuss on Business to Business opportunities linking established businesses and new ventures. 3.
